By using this platform, you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before creating an account, listing a space, or making a booking.
1. Intermediary platform
MyParkMB is an intermediary platform connecting hosts (owners of spaces/services) and clients (renters). MyParkMB acts solely as a market facilitator and does not itself provide, own, or operate the spaces, vehicles, equipment, or services listed on the platform.
2. Limitation of liability
MyParkMB IS NOT responsible for damages, thefts, accidents, or liabilities occurring during or as a result of a rental transaction between a host and a client. All rentals are conducted at the sole risk of the parties involved. You agree to release MyParkMB from any claims arising from such incidents.
3. Host responsibility
Hosts are solely responsible for the safety, legality, and accuracy of their listings. Hosts must have the legal right to rent the space or service offered (such as hourly equipment or appliance rentals). Listings must accurately describe the item, its condition, availability, pricing, and any rules or restrictions.
4. Client responsibility
Clients are responsible for the proper use of the rented spaces and services (including equipment like washing machines), in accordance with the host's rules and local laws. Clients must treat rented items with care and return them in the same condition received, subject to normal use.
5. Equipment connection & usage
For hourly services and equipment rentals (e.g., washing machines, EV chargers, laundry machines), clients must verify that the equipment is properly connected and functional before use. If an issue is found, the client must report it immediately to the host and to MyParkMB through the platform messaging tools.
6. Reviews and opinions
Clients and hosts must leave an honest review or opinion regarding the service or equipment once the rental period is completed. Reviews must be truthful, non-defamatory, and based on actual experience. MyParkMB may remove reviews that violate these guidelines or are suspected to be fraudulent.
7. Payments & process
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Funds are held and only released/accepted upon successful completion of the rental service. MyParkMB collects a 7% platform service fee on top of the base price of each transaction. Hosts receive 100% of the base price; the guest pays the base price plus the platform fee. Payouts to hosts are made through Stripe Connect to the host's verified connected account.
8. Email registration & acceptance
Any user registering with an email address must review and explicitly accept these Terms of Service (ToS) before they can proceed with listing, renting, or operating on the platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
9. Disputes
Any dispute between hosts and clients must be resolved directly between the parties. MyParkMB may assist with mediation but assumes no financial responsibility for resolving disputes or reimbursing losses. Parties are encouraged to document the condition of rented items and communicate through the platform.
