1. Who we are
MyParkMB is an intermediary marketplace that connects hosts (owners of stays, vehicles, parking spots, equipment and services) with guests who rent them. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use myparkmb.com and the MyParkMB Android app, and how we use it.
2. Data we collect
Account data: your name, email address, phone number and profile details you provide at registration. Listing data: photos, descriptions, prices, addresses and availability you publish as a host. Booking data: dates, times, guest counts, messages between hosts and guests, and reviews. Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation and payout status but never store your full card number. Technical data: device, browser, approximate location (when you use the map), and cookies/local storage used for sign-in, language, currency and referral links.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to create and secure your account, publish and manage listings, process bookings and payments, enable messaging between hosts and guests, operate the referral and loyalty program, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. What we share
When a booking is made, the host and guest see each other's name, contact details and booking information needed to complete the rental. Payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your payment data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and currency preferences, and attribute referral links. You can clear these in your browser settings, but some features (like sign-in) will stop working.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and booking data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute-resolution purposes. Support tickets and messages are kept so we can assist with claims and disputes.
7. Your rights and account deletion
You can view and edit your profile data at any time from your account settings. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from the Delete my account page or by contacting us. Some records (such as completed transactions) may be retained where the law requires it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
MyParkMB is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at https://myparkmb.com/privacy. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
